What happens next?

If you are a new member, you will be issued a door entry card to be able to access the squash club and you will also be issued with a set of login details so that you can book courts online using our online court booking system.

Door entry cards are normally programmed and left behind the club bar by Membership Secretary, Joe Magor, for members to collect at their convenience. The bar is normally open from 7pm to 10pm, Monday to Thursday.

If you have renewed your membership, your door entry card shall remain active and your login details for the club’s online court booking system shall stall the same.

You will receive a confirmation email with details of your renewal, new membership expiry date, and a reminder of your login details for the online booking system.

Things to get you started

a) Club Leagues – We run a set of monthly internal leagues, which are a great way to meet new people and play some games in a competitive environment! Leagues run from the beginning to the end of each month. You can sign up via the club leagues notice board at the club or you can sign up online here: Sign up for club leagues

b) Club Nights – We run a monthly club night on the First Monday of each month. This club night is designed to allow players of various standards to play each other in a round-robin format and there is a committee member that organises everyone onto their courts on Monday Club nights. The Monday club night is run from 7:20pm to 10pm.

c) Individual Coaching – We have two qualified coaches, Tom May and Ben Goodayle, that are on hand to provide top class coaching for all standards of players. Please visit the Coaching section for more details.

d) Racket Restringing – We offer a complete racket restringing service with a large range of squash strings in stock as well as Badminton and Tennis stringing. For more details, please visit: https://www.cmstringers.com/squash-strings

e) Club Facebook Group – If you’d like to keep up to date on the goings-on at the club via social media, we have a dedicated club Facebook Group page which you can access and join at https://www.facebook.com/groups/canterburysc

f) Tournaments/Events – We run a series of open tournaments and events at the club, so keep up to date by checking out the Tournaments section.

g) Junior Coaching – Have children interested in taking up the sport? We run Junior coaching sessions on Sundays from 10am to 12pm for those keen to try it out! see the Junior Coaching section for more details.
